Some of the breathtaking valleys inland of India is named after some Rivers that flow through them and that is how valleys came into existence with several nice names. Several great mountain ranges and rivers of India, therefore, create the most beautiful valleys in India.  These beautiful valleys in India also sustain the whole economy of India by generating extra incomes to the whole state; as many Tourists visit these places and they are obviously charged. India is not only known because of these beautiful valleys but generally, India is such a well-developed country that sustains the welfare of all its citizens and mostly this is due to good governance. Here is the list of some 15 picturesque Valleys in India and all are like nature blessings to people of India.



Valley of Flowers

Even without visiting this place one can guess what is growing here as the name (Flowers) suggest. This Valley of flowers is located in Chamoli, a region of (Uttarakhand). The Valley of followers is known to be home of some lovely flowers and this supports the growth of different species of wildflowers like  Dianthus, Calendula and not only these kinds of flowers are found here, the land also supports breeds of some rare animals like the Blue sheep and snow leopard. The growth of these different species in this valley varies in different seasons and mostly during winter seasons, they start booming all over this land. This valley is such a captivating place due to its mesmerizing landscape view and it such a popular place visited by the most tourist and even one feels to be in a comfortable and nice looking place with a good view. This valley serves to grow a unique variety of flowers and in most cases, flowers are of unique colors and they spread over acres of land.

Dzukou Valley

The valley is situated in the land of Nagaland in India and it the most charming valleys of Nagaland. This valley is well known for its beautiful natural sanctuary and the land here is bounded by several Bamboo trees and it is such a cool place loved by many nature lovers. This Valley mostly experiences wide coverage of snows during winter seasons and the entire valley shines during summer, this is a time when there is a lot of brightness from the sun that gives the beautiful flowers in the area to shine with a nice looking view. This Valley has some two main rivers that flow within and it is; Dzukou river and the Japfu river and in most cases this rivers irrigates the huge Bamboo forest and wildflowers in the area that gives a captivating view of the whole landscape.



Araku Valley

The valley is found near Vishakhapatnam district in India, the station of where this valley is situated has an amazing natural beauty with the rich landscape. The land around this valley supports the growth of green forest and also coffee plantations. The valley also hosts Borra caves and some waterfalls and lovely weather; this is why many like visiting this valley. The valley is also home of tribal people and another tribal museum that shows the tribal handicrafts and one can get to know the different historical origin of these people from these museums. The vegetation in this valley gives the whole amazing beauty especially during winter seasons when the whole climate in the area is favorable and at these periods there is a lot of fresh plantations and the whole land is greenish and the whole valley shines with a riveting view.

Kashmir Valley

The Kashmir valley is known for its great mountains covered with lush green forest and other snow-capped hills. Most popular tourist places around the valley are Dal Lake and Amarnath temple. The Population of Kashmir region is concentrated around this valley because of its fertile alluvial soil that yields various cash crops and food crops such as; Rice, Maize, and vegetables The valley has scenic natural beauty that remains mesmerizing, for example, it has scenic mountains and lakes that attract many tourists around and mostly these mountains are covered with snows especially during winter seasons, this gives mesmerizing view in the whole landscape.



Yumthang Valley

This valley is situated in North Sikkim near the Tibetan border. Most people love visiting this valley especially during warm summer when various types of flowers blossom during this time and that is why it is termed as flower sanctuary valley. This period the sky in the area is very clear and one is able to spot a glimpse of heavy snowfall in scenic mountains around. This valley is a nature sanctuary with the river, hot springs and green pasture that supports domestic animals during dry periods.

Silent Valley

The Silent Valley area located in the Nilgiri hills of the southwestern ghat. The valley has natural beauty and various rare plants and some species of wild animals and birds. The silent valley is bounded by Evergreen Natural Forests which is home to many species. In this valley, there is Silent Valley National Park with some rare wild animals such as; Panther and Sambar. The valley is covered with every moist green forest and mostly woody natural forest which supports varieties of wonderful flora and Fauna, which attracts many nature lovers across the globe to this valley as photographers for these natural beauties.

Chambal valley

The valley is named after the famous Chambal River which flows within the region. The Chambal valley is such attractive and captivating to the human eye because of its natural beauty. This Chambal valley is such beautiful as compared to other valleys because the mountains within this valley are covered with green evergreen forests unlike other mountains in other valleys in that region which are covered by white snow. There are lots of flora and Fauna that is home to rare species of animals in the area and there are also prehistoric sites within this valley and it is such a wonderful place to visit.



Dibang Valley

 This valley is named after the famous Dibang River in Arunachal Pradesh that flows throughout the valley. The valley is known for its beautiful scenarios such as Mountains, Evergreen valleys, beautiful high falls. The Dibang valley is subdivided into two sections depending on its various beauties; the downside section of Dibang valley has protected species of plants and animals and this lower part of valley serves to be the major attraction site. The soil here in this valley also supports the growth of lovely flowers that gives mesmerizing landscape view and advantage of this valley there is scarce population around and probably this which is an advantage to experience natural beauty without much interruption from residents. This valley is such rich in wildlife and this tends to be the best place for wildlife photographers and even nature lovers.

Kangra Valley

Kangra Valley is a very attractive valley to nature lovers and is situated in the Himachal Pradesh and its major area is covered with scenic pine tree forest and a stream that flows along this valley.

Especially during winter seasons, the valley is not such conducive for visiting as the whole environment is very cold and one can even freeze. The valley also has a highest peak at Dhauladhar range; that gives it a good view and in many cases, many people like visiting this area due to these natural beauties in this valley. The Valley also serves to be home of famous Kangra Fort and Masroor Rock cut temple which is world heritage site. The valley is also well known for beautiful Kangra temples and Kangra fort and it is popular places visited by tourist from the world’s globe.

Nubra Valley

The Nubra Valley is located near Leh district in India. The valley is mainly known for its natural beauty such as; beautifully shaped sand dunes. Especially when there is little sun the area this tends to be much favorable for trekking activities and this is the day’s many people like visiting this place. The valley is actually a high cold desert and that why it is home to rare species of domestic animals such as Bactrian camels.

Zanskar Valley

The valley is located in Ladakh, It such a beautiful valley with amazing Zanskar River flowing down from Mountain tops, and the river serves to be a natural watering source to the valley especially to rose bushes in the valley. Generally, this valley is known for its immense natural beauty and especially during months of Summer River rafting is much practiced within, and other the trekking activities are also engaged by people living in this area and you can find many tourists visiting this valley during this times.



Ketti Valley

The Ketti Valley is located in the beautiful hills stretching from Coonoor to Ooty in Tamil Nadu.  The valley is famous for its immense natural beauty and this valley accommodates different types of flora. It is such a finest place when it comes to different interesting activities such; Sports trekking, Bird watching, and hiking throughout the area. The valley for its natural beauty stands to be the second largest gorge in the world, and it such with the attractive Blue Mountains and amazing waterfalls. Ketti valley is such a famous tourist center which tends to have the unique Blue Mountains unlike other mountains covered with white snowcapped. This is something unusual to many visitors and this valley is such a wonderful place to be.

Parvati Valley

Parvati valley is located in Kullu Manali extending from Bhuntar all the way to Spiti. The valley also serves to be a major attraction site in India and it is known for; the serpent-shaped waterfall, the evergreen pine forest of Khirganga, the pin valley National park which is prominent for its population of snow leopard. Its scenic beauty varies depending on different seasons; during summer, the Parvati Valley is perfect for camping and Rock climbing, because of the favorable condition that creates chances for this activities and this season is only between March and May. Tosh, Kasol is located at the far end of Parvati village and it is popular for cannabis plantation and also the village of tosh is an example of natural beauty that Himachal holds.

Sutlej Valley

The Sutlej Valley is named after famous Sutlej River and it is bounded by rocky hills and Snowcapped Mountains and the valley mainly receives water from Sutlej River for irrigation. Sutlej Valley is known to be Home of India’s Largest Bird Sanctuary and in such it is the habitat of birds such as Yellow eyes pigeon, Tufted Duck, Yellow Clowned Woodpecker, Watercock and other animals are seen in this valley are; Wild boar, Jungle cat, The smooth Indian otter. Most tourists like this valley because of its peaceful nature that gives them a chance to take a walk around the valley to enjoy the amazing landscape.



Spiti Valley

The valley of Spiti is located between the beautiful region of Ladakh and Tibet. The landscape of this valley is largely mountainous and in such suitable for trekking activities. The Spiti valley in India is well known due to its natural scenic beauties such as; Snow-capped mountains, Beautiful lakes, and glaciers. The valley also serves to be home of different animals especially; Snow leopards and Musk deer. The valley provides ideal weather conditions during summer periods and this is a time when most tourist like visiting this period days when many activities such as motorbiking and trekking are done.
