2. Explore Prague Castle

This is probably the most renowned landmark of the city. It is a combination of architectural design with a vintage touch. The building is characterized by Gothic spires, arches, and gargoyles. Make sure you get to the Cathedral IS.

The castle is also surrounded by beautiful landscape and green pathways. There is more than enough to view in and out of Prague castle. First timers tend to spend a whole afternoon here and don’t get enough.

3. Visit Malá Strana

Mala Strana is not far from Prague Castle; you can walk down the hill to this beautiful neighborhood with a vintage touch. The streets are made of cobblestones. The town is characterized by old buildings that demonstrate the rich history and culture of Prague.

You are likely to meet tourists more than locals here. Walking in Mala Strana is one of the best things to do in Prague. The neighborhood triggers curiosity; if you feel like obeying your thrills and jumping off the thoroughfares, you are free. There are all opportunities to adventure, don’t restrict yourself and regret later.

4. Old Town Square

We can’t talk about Prague and fail to mention the Old town square. The distinguishing feature of this place is the Astronomical Clock. You might think it is weird to stop and watch a clock until you get to Prague, there will always be a crowd at the top of the hour watching this clock. There is a high tower that is more interesting to go with the stairs but it is exhausting; you can use the elevator. Just don’t miss the spectacular view at the top.

5. Havel Market

What is exploration without shopping? This is the best chance to interact with the locals and get a feel of the local materials. You can schedule this for your last day in Prague; you might need extra storage space if you are a random buyer, everything here is worth carrying home. Previously, the market was exclusively for food but there is more to it today; you can get wooden toys and gifts. This is the best place to shop for a souvenir.

6. Wallenstein Garden

It might not be the most beautiful park in Prague but there are unique features of Wallenstein. It is the only place you can get the whole view of Prague Castle. Besides, it is home to white peacocks. Be sure to watch form a distance.

7. Czech beer

There are lots of spots to enjoy the beer in Prague. The local’s manufacturer the finest beer in the region and consume it in huge portions. Make sure you drink while in Prague, it is part of the experiences here.

8. Ride a Tram

Prague comes third after Moscow and Budapest on efficient tram networks. Riding a tram as you watch the city is the ultimate adventure in Prague. Consider the old school trams to catch landmarks of the city.

9. Night out

Don’t get too exhausted in the day because the night is never dull in Prague. You have all the options from lounges, dance clubs, cafes, to underground clubs, bars, and jazz pubs. Don’t restrict yourself to the city, the outskirts are similarly active in the night.

10. Go to Letna Park

Prague’s beauty can be defined from this place. You won’t get enough of the views; sunrise and sunsets are amazing in Letna. The park in a hilltop; be sure to carry your camera.
